Backslide

I am starting to backslide with many opportunities in my life. I have become complacent with responsibilities and taking care of myself. I have gotten into a routine that is boring, to say the least. Every morning I get up at a very early hour and I go to work. I work ALL day long. Then I come home to have a late dinner with my wife and then one of two options. I either study or watch television for an hour or so. In keeping with my laziness, I am starting to let myself go even more and not doing anything active. I am also starting to find that I am not budgeting my money properly like I have done for the past few years. I am being wasteful and not properly keeping track of money.

I can feel myself sliding backwards into a deep pit. I need to shake things up a bit. It is 7:30 PM on a Wednesday night and it is all that I can do to keep my eyes open. Sadly, I have another two hours or so before  I go home.

On a lighter note, I did a little bit of basic networking today at the office and it was fun. Nothing hard, nothing I haven't done before; however, I did get to do this on several different computers and linked lots of things together. Right now it is basic stuff. Today I setup a shared folder between two computers and then I linked two other computers to one printer. I am also learning a lot in my online class about Excel. Pretty exciting stuff, no?
