As Christmas comes to an end I am realizing that I got way too many gifts! I am glad for what I received, but I received too much. I am finding that another perk of being married means twice as many presents. I definitely think that the best gift that I received was an Amazon Kindle Fire. Of course I have only had it for a few days, but so far I am amazed at all that it does. I didn't really look at any of the specifications for this gadget, I just wanted an e-reader in hopes that I could put my textbooks on it to save money. I had no idea that it was a full-fledged tablet.Writing the weekly newsletter for the employees at my company has trained me to use a Thesaurus. This was never a source that I used growing up. I am finding that as I try to use new words that aren't generally part of my vernacular that I don't know how to pronounce them. I have heard these words used and I understand the meanings, but I have misheard them and are repeating them incorrectly or repeating them with hesitation. For instance, a word that may have a P in it, I hear a B and pronounce it as so. So that has been interesting.
My wife and I are moving this weekend and are starting to feel the crunch. Note to self: Do not move the week after Christmas because you think you are packed and then you find yourself with tons of more present to pack.
