My brother is going away...

I am sad to say that my brother will be leaving for college tomorrow. He is going to Lipscomb University, in Nashville, TN, and he will definitely be missed. We have become very close in the last three years or so, as he has grown into his teenage years. Now that we have more in common, we have had opportunities to hang out and build a closer relationship. A selfish part of me was hoping that he would stay here in Memphis and go to college, but he has decided to go off to Nashville and I will have to just adjust. I have been best friends with my wife since high school, so I do not have many guy friends; therefore, I am slowly running out of friends in the Memphis area. On the other hand, I am excited for the opportunity to travel and visit the Nashville area. As I mentioned in a previous entry, my wife has us moving to Nashville on her "to do list." This will give us a reason to make multiple visits and scope out the different areas and to see what Nashville has to offer. I am hoping that with school starting up in the next week or so that I won't miss him too much.
