Fall

It appears that summer is finally starting to leave us, and it couldn't happen any sooner. The last two days have felt amazing. You would think having days with the high in the upper 80's that it would still be hot but compared to the summer that we just had, that is nothing. Earlier this year I purchased a little 150cc scooter that I had been riding to work. I only live two miles from my job, so it wasn't really like I was doing it to conserve gas or anything... it was just something for me to do. It has been so miserably hot lately that I have not been able to even consider riding it. I rode it to work today for the first time in about two months. It was nice.
In my last two semesters in school, I have managed to get all A's in the few classes that I have taken. I have doubled my work load at my job and increased my hours at school and I am feeling the pressure. At the start of this semester I had planned on all A's again, but at this point I may just settle for B's. My wife is thoroughly enjoying nursing school, which is a good thing. She easily spends 10+ hours a day between classes and studying. If it is going to be something that is so time consuming, I am glad that she is learning a lot and having a good time.
