You would think by now with all of the advancements in medical science and technology that there would be something more effective than condoms and birth control. With all the children's immunizations that are required, you think that they could construct a birth control immunization shot that could last for 18 years. Parents would pay a fortune for that. If I knew that I could guarantee that my child would not become pregnant or impregnate someone else, I would pay a fortune for something like that.

Teenage Birth
As I was flipping through television channels today, I ran across a show that was based on teenage pregnancy. Having a child would be difficult enough, I could NEVER imagine trying to have one while I was still in high school. There is a women at my office that has a 17 year old daughter that is currently pregnant. I have met her daughter, but I don't know much about her. From what I understand, she is finishing her high schooling and planning to go attend some form of higher education. Having a full time job and trying to take classes is bad enough, but I can not imagine doing it having to worry about raising a child. Not that it would ever be a problem for me considering that as a man I can't bare children, but that would have been a non-issue since I wasn't exactly sexually active as a high school student.
